I’m a freelance commercial writer. I work with senior people in organisations to create, shape and deliver compelling brand voices and messages using sharp, original copy that gets read and responded to.

I write for print and digital media, as well as speeches and scripts for broadcast and live events. In fifteen years I’ve written everything from powerful, playful straplines to websites people want to read (not just look at) to reports on the future of education. I can work as early in the process as the birth of a product or service (often working within a bigger brand team) or as late as sub-editing copy that needs a leg up before publication.

I write across many mediums partly because I know the essential technical differences between a blog, a press release and a speech, but mainly because I apply the same principle to all my work: that human beings everywhere respond positively to words that are engaging, well written, honest and accessible.
